After my first semester here at KAUST, I have submitted my first paper to ICML 2020, "Adaptive Learning of the Optimal Mini-Batch Size" and it has been such an honor to work with Dr. Peter Richtarik to achieve that.

I am starting my masters degree at KAUST and I am fortunate enough to be supervised by Professor Peter Richtarik, working on stochastic big data optimization and Federated Learning, all while expanding my knowledge in systems and deep learning.

Simultaneously, I will be the head coach and deputy leader for the International Olympiad of Informatics (IOI), whose training sessions take place at KAUST.
